Richard Carlton Consulting is working directly with corporations and state/local agencies to leverage the power of
multimedia using QuickTime movies and QuickTime Virtual
Reality.
QuickTime VR Panorama movies allow computer users to
view a location with 360° of rotation. QuickTime VR
Object movies allow users to view an object and rotate
it in any direction, on demand.
We employ a combination of Kodak's professional digital and
Nikon's professional film cameras to provide solutions with
maximum quality and speed of production. CD-ROMs with
digital video are available in both Windows PC format and
Macintosh format. (both on a single CD-ROM).
For maximum quality, Richard Carlton Consulting uses Kodak's
DCS 420 professional digital camera equipped with a 15mm
wide angle lens (seen above). Richard Carlton Consulting is
an authorized value added reseller of professional Kodak
digital cameras. We can "shoot" and "stitch" custom VR
scenes for you, or we can develop a custom solution for you.
From documenting crime scenes for law enforcement agencies
to innovative marketing activities such as the Mail Boat
trip scenes (sample VR scenes below), Richard Carlton
Consulting brings the latest Apple technologies to your
organization, giving you that extra competitive advantage.
Use of high quality digital cameras gives users "near film
quality" images, while providing instant feedback via a
powerbook in the field. With this setup, there is no film
processing delay, or film developing charges, and you know
your images are good, before you leave the location of the
shoot. We can even stitch the VR movie on the Powerbook at
the scene of the shoot. Once a scene is shot (consisting of
12 to 18 separate images) it takes about 30 minutes to color
correct and stitch a basic virtual reality movie together.
